Franklin User Guide - Looking for Manuscripts

It is now possible to limit searches to manuscripts and archival materials through the use of special limits in the Quick Limits drop-down menu on the Search page and in the list of All Search Limits under location. Searches using either of these limits will retrieve manuscripts found in the Rare Book and Manuscript Library and the Center for Advanced Judaic Studies Library.

Using Quick Limits:

Before searching, click on Manuscripts
Search as usual

Under All Search Limits:

Click on the All Search Limits icon
Go to Library Location menu
Click on ManuscriptsALL
Click on Set Limits icon and search as usual

If you would like to browse the codex manuscripts (early bound manuscripts) in the Annenberg Rare Book and Manuscript Library that are currently on Franklin, you can do so with the following call number search:
