Franklin User Guide - Your Library Account

The Patron Information screen displays information about your library record and activity, including your local mailing address, titles you have checked out, any fines and fees you may have incurred, and any titles you have recalled. To access this information you must supply your Penn Library ID number and last name in the Patron Login screen.

Personal Information

Contains your name and local mailing address. If this information is incorrect or needs to be updated, use the electronic change-of-address form on the forms page or contact any Library Circulation department.

Any e-mail address or temporary mailing address you have supplied to the Library will not display.

Patron Blocks

Patrons may be blocked from borrowing, renewing, or requesting items. Reasons for a block include: fines of $25 or higher, one or more overdue recalled books, or an expired library record. Courtesy patrons are blocked if they check out more than 20 books.

Items you have checked out

Lists all the titles you have charged out with due dates.

Request Information

Lists any titles you have recalled, including Requests Pending and Items Available for you to pick up.

Fines and Fees

Contains any outstanding charges you have acquired, with the total amount due listed at the top. Also included is the date the charge was assessed or partially paid, a title (if applicable), the type of charge or payment (Fee/Posting Type), payments made (Posting), and the balance due.
