| Author Search |
| Author searches locate books by author name.
An "author" can be an individual, an editor, an association, a company, a conference,
a performer, or a governmental agency. Omit commas, periods, apostrophes and most
punctuation from author searches, but retain hypens. When an author search is
performed, the results are displayed in a browseable index. Limits cannot be
applied to author searches. |

Most author searches are straightforward. Enter an individual's last name first,
followed by the first name. A comma is not necessary.
