With the help of his butler and partner, Drummond pursues Valdin in a chase through waterfront dives in search of his beloved Phyllis, while Scotland yard inspector Colonel Nielson follows their trail by slipping into an amazing series of disguises.
[Bulldog Drummond's peril]: A valuable synthetic gem is stolen and the head of the Metropolitan Diamond Syndicate is the chief suspect. The scientist responsible for "creating" the precious stone is murdered and Captain Drummond swears vengeance.
